Our Staff

Nikki Kobylarz – Store Manager/Instructor

I am the General Manager here at T-Rex Arms. I have worked here for a couple years now and enjoy every minute. My passion for firearms started many years ago and caused me to become an instructor. I am a USCCA Certified Instructor, Women’s Handgun Fundamentals Instructor, and Emergency First Aid Fundamentals Instructor. I obtained my USCCA certification in 2020 and I truly love teaching. However, my training has not stopped there. I continue my education to keep up my skill set. As a firearm owner this is incredibly important.

I am happily married with four awesome kids. My family frequents T-Rex Arms to enjoy the range and visit me. I am an advocate for teaching children about firearm safety. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with customers and students. I look forward to seeing you in the shop!

Richard Morgan – Gunsmith

I am the Armorer/Gunsmith for T-Rex Arms and am originally from Belleville. I went to school to be a Automotive Collision Repair and Refinish Technician and worked in that field for five years. I enlisted in the US Army in 2009 and served in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Upon completion of my contract and two deployments, I was honorably discharged. I lived in NYC for several years before ultimately returning to Belleville.

I absolutely love my job because, in my opinion, there is nothing more satisfying than turning a pile of parts in to a functional firearm. I find the rest of my job is fun as well; whether it’s troubleshooting a problem or just answering a question. I recently attended the Glock Armorer Course and will continue to train and share my knowledge and experience.

David Werner – Instructor

David Werner is a USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals Certified Instructor, Stop the Bleed Instructor, NRA Certified RSO, Chemical Agent Instructor as well as an Explosive Detection Canine Handler.

Dave has been teaching structured firearms courses for many years as well as taser and defensive tactics and served in a training coordinator capacity, as well as in leadership and training for a very large church security team.  Dave also has been a paramedic for over 25 years and has been handling explosive detection canines since 2002.

Dave spends his time off with his wife and their combined 5 kids and he says that being a husband and dad are his most prized accomplishments.  Dave’s philosophy of teaching centers around the premise that the training he has received should be given to others so that we can all make it home safe.
